overview
I am a dedicated and experienced personal injury attorney with over 45 years of legal practice in Georgia. Since being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1977, I have represented clients in a wide range of legal matters, ultimately focusing my career on advocating for individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own. I am admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, including the Cobb County Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and all four federal district courts in Georgia. My mission has always been to seek justice for the people I represent, and I remain passionate about standing up for clients when they need help the most.
Background
Reason for Becoming an Attorney:
From a young age, I was drawn to fairness, accountability, and the idea that no one should suffer without recourse. I became an attorney because I wanted to right the wrongs I saw in society and give a voice to those who might otherwise be ignored. That mission continues to guide my practice today.
Personal Story:
One of my earliest motivations came from observing people in my community who didn’t have access to fair legal representation. I saw firsthand how easy it was for everyday people to be mistreated by larger systems—whether it was an insurance company, employer, or bureaucracy—and I knew I wanted to do something about it. That’s what drives my work with injury victims today. When someone is hurt, scared, and unsure of where to turn, I want to be the one who steps in and says: “We’ve got this. You're not alone.”
Professional Experience
After passing the bar in 1977, I launched my own law practice in Norcross, Georgia. In the early years, I handled a wide variety of legal matters—criminal law, divorce, real estate, contracts, bankruptcy, and personal injury. Over time, I chose to narrow my focus to the areas where I felt I could make the most impact. By 2015, I shifted entirely to personal injury law, and in 2016, I expanded my team with attorneys and professionals who shared my commitment to advocating for injury victims.
Practice Areas
Today, my firm is solely devoted to personal injury law. We handle cases involving car accidents, truck crashes, premises liability, and other negligence-based claims. With decades of litigation experience, we prepare every case as if it’s going to trial—because our clients deserve thorough, aggressive representation.
Winning Rate
Throughout my career, I have consistently achieved strong results for my clients. I take pride in the fact that many of our cases resolve successfully before trial due to meticulous preparation and our reputation for courtroom readiness. We fight hard, and we win often.
Professional Journey
I have always run my own law firm, giving me the freedom to build a practice around my values and the needs of my clients. I’ve invested in a team of skilled professionals who bring expertise, compassion, and a tireless work ethic to every case.
